CALLING ALL ROOST 138 MEMBERS!
Please join your fellow Roosters in the upstairs meeting room at Monaghan's Pub for our January meeting.
This is a SPECIAL meeting, though. This meeting is when we give out much of the money that we managed to take in from our various formal Roost activities, 50/50 raffles, and scratch off ticket sales executed during the year.
Hopefully, most of our 60+ members will be there, along with representatives of the organizations we had selected to receive our donation checks this year.

Each of these representatives will be asked to make a brief presentation on some of the good work they have managed to accomplish in 2025, along with their plans and aspirations for 2026.
​​
​Including the money to be distributed on this night, our Roost will have given out over $121,000 since our first Charitable Donation Night in 2016.
Without our Roost members and loyal Roost supporters, however, we are nothing. Unlike the government, our Roost can't just print money. We must rely upon your charitable nature to provide us with the means to distribute these funds. Our Roost conducts a number of fund-raising activities each year, but make no mistake, the money being distributed was yours.

Polar Bear Plunge - 2026

Well, Plungemaster Will is at it again. Already.

Apparently he thinks that if he sets up our Ravens Roost 138 Polar Bear Plunge Team in October then he can plunge now and take advantage of the current bath-like water temperatures.

No, Plungemaster Will. It doesn’t work that way.

While you SHOULDN’T be taken in by Will’s vain attempts to plunge in warm water, you SHOULD go ahead and sign up as a plunger on the Ravens Roost 138 Plunge Team. And do it early like Plungemaster Will did.

We had a record number of plungers on our team last year, but with all the new Roost members Patrick signed during 2025, we should be able to beat that record again this year.

Ravens Roost 138
Bull and Oyster Roast

6 PM - 10 PM
This year's event will be done in collaboration with Ravens Roost 117, so it should be a rockin' good time.
Jill Black and the Panic Attack has already been contracted to play. This will be their third time with us. We just can't get enough of a good thing.
