Last year, she happily gave up her $10 bill for what turned out to be the WINNING TICKET drawn for the 15 SEQUENTIALLY NUMBERED $10 Ravens Scratch-Off tickets.
How she knew it was going to be the winner is completely beyond me, but she was right.
You can do the same thing.
First, you'll need to find your Ten Dollar Bill (or two five spots, or ten singles. No change, please).
Then, you'll have to find Phil.
Unlike Punxsutawney Phil, Catonsville Phil won't be hiding in some hole.
He'll be easy to find at Monaghan's Pub.
He'll have the tickets, but not until the end of August.
The Ravens scratch-off tickets offer multiple ways to win some big prizes. In addition to the "normal" cash you can win just from scratching, these bad boys have a "Second Chance" where you could still win that Top Prize of $200,000 or some other nice things.
Your $10 contribution will then be going to one of the great charities that we support.
THAT'S our real end game.
The winning ticket will be drawn at our Charity Auction on October 29, 2026.

Welcome To YEAR 6!
Year after year, Ravens Roost 138 has been stepping up to meet one of the greatest challenges known to humankind:
COLD FEET!
You know what I'm talking about.
As strange as it may seem to some, the giving of a pair of clean, new socks may be the MOST rewarding thing that we, as a Roost, do. The faces of the grateful recipients typically say it all.
We will need your help again this year if we are to successfully complete this important mission.
New socks are reportedly THE most requested item at homeless shelters throughout Baltimore.
We are in need of men's, woman's, and unfortunately also children's socks. Any size. Any color.
Over the course of this campaign, we plan to deliver bags and bags of these socks to the Children's Hospital in Catonsville, and to the West Side Men's Shelter also in Catonsville.
Our quest is about to begin. Watch for the large Sock Collection Box, which will be conveniently located at Monaghan's Pub in Gwynn Oak, MD. If you bring in some socks every time you go there for food and drink, we'll do great again this year.

We are hoping for a duplicate of the fantastic 2025 weather for this fun event.
Fingers crossed, Mother Nature!
As has been our custom, there will be plenty of free food and drink again this year, but what we can't eat will have to be disposed of somehow. You should come on out and help us with this pressing situation.
The Cornhole Range will be open to all commers. Last year, only two teams showed up (actually only one - I sucked at Cornhole).
TAYLOR SWIFT is planning to perform at our event this year. She said OK, but only if Travis will let her come out to play.
Don't hold your breath, though.
Grilling will be performed again this year by the world-renowned Hull Brothers, Carrroll and Rick. They did have a prior engagement at a popular restaurant in New York City, but we were able to entice them away with enough cash to fill the trunk of their car.
